Mike Hanko is a Chicago native whose professional experience includes positions as a composer, performer, producer, and editor and has graced the stages of The United Center, Soldier Field, The Arie Crown Theater with such stellar artist as Aretha Franklin, Barry Manilow, Marilyn McCoo, and The Cryn’ Shames. Mike now brings his own brand of musicality to highlight VDK!!!

Wayne Baxton’s passion is playing bass. He has played nearly every live venue in Chicago, including The Blues Fest and worked gigs in places as far flung as Italy and Austria. Laying down the VDK backbeat is where it’s at.

Herman Winkler started playing drums at age thirteen after working summer jobs solely in order to purchase his first set. Wide ranging musical experience derived from playing with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Blues Brothers Band, and other tribute acts gives him what he needs to funk it up.
